Our Location

• The Pier is located behind the Marine Department Building.
• There is a sign on the building for the "Town Pier"
• The Town Pier is directly across Washington Street from the Town Parking Lot.
• Public Parking is available in the Town Lot.

• Walk out the pier
• You will see a ramp down on your RIGHT
• There is a Nantucket Adventures Sign Here
• DO NOT PASS THIS RAMP - it is the only way onto the Floating Dock
  
• Go Down the Ramp, across the Gangway and onto the Floating Dock
• The Floating Dock will turn Left, you will be heading East.
  
• Head out the Floating Dock to Slip #77
• We have a large white dock box that is marked "SLIP #77"
• Look for the guys in Red T-Shirts, that will be your crew.
  

• Head away from Town on the sidewalk of Washington Street
• The Polo Shop is on the corner of Main and Washington
• Gardiners Corner is painted on the side of the Polo Shop wall here.
• You will walk past Force 5 Watersports on your right.
  
• Remember the Location of Force 5, it is the home of the famous Candy Room! Tell them Schark sent you!
  
• The NRTA Buses are on the street here - Keep going out Washington Street
  
• Keep going past the Triangle - You will see the flag pole on your left in the middle of the parked cars.
• You will now pass The Lobster Trap on your Right, keep going on the sidewalk of Washington Street
• Stay on the sidewalk on the right side of Washington Street
• You will now pass The Maria Mitchell Aquarium on your Left, Keep Going
• Next is Brant Point Marine on the Left
• The very next building is the Marine Department
• Cross Washington Street at the crosswalk here. It is marked and cars should stop for you.
  
• Walk in the driveway of the Marine Department and head to the front of the building
• You are now at the foot of the Town Pier.
• Head out the Town Pier
• You will see a ramp down on your RIGHT
• There is a Nantucket Adventures Sign Here
• DO NOT PASS THIS RAMP - it is the only way onto the Floating Dock
• Go Down the Ramp, across the Gangway and onto the Floating Dock
• The Floating Dock will turn Left, you will be heading East.
• Head out the Floating Dock to Slip #77
• We have a large white dock box that is marked "SLIP #77"

• Walk towards Town on Straight Wharf
• When the road turns to cobblestones, that is the corner of Main Street and New Whale Street
• Turn LEFT at this corner and head down New Whale Street - The Nantucket Boat Basin will be on your left, The Grand Union Parking Lot will be on your right
• Your next intersection will be the corner of New Whale Street and Commercial Street - Turn RIGHT and walk towards The Lobster Trap Restaurant
• At the end of Commercial Street you will be in front of The Lobster Trap Restaurant and there will be a Monument with a Flag Pole just to your right.
• This Intersection is with Washington Street - GO LEFT - we recommend crossing Washington Street to use the sidewalk on the Lobster Trap side of the road. Washington Street is VERY BUSY
• After apx 50 Yards there will be the Town Parking Lot on your right - across the street on the Harbor Side you will see the Marine department Building - #34 Washington Street
  
• Walk in the driveway of the Marine Department and head to the front of the building
• You are now at the foot of the Town Pier.
• Head out the Town Pier
• You will see a ramp down on your RIGHT
• There is a Nantucket Adventures Sign Here
