Captain Schark was on the water before he could even walk. He spent his younger days with his parents rolling about the bottom of the family boat sailing on Nantucket Harbor. He knows the waters intimately and he will share with you some of the "secret spots" that he has collected over the years that make Nantucket such a wonderful island.
With over 30 years experience, Captain Schark has spent his entire life fishing the waters of Nantucket and the world. As an avid outdoorsman, naturalist and guide, he has honed his skills to spot and share all manner of animals, birds and fish with his guests. If there is a critter around, Captain Schark will find it! He holds a United States Coast Guard Masters License for 100 Ton Vessels for up to 200 miles offshore. Experience counts in a Captain, and Schark has a enough to be the original IGFA Certified Captain on Nantucket.
